Job Description:

The Treasury - COE Lead is responsible for establishing and leading the Treasury Center of Excellence (COE), with end-to-end ownership of global treasury processes, operating models, governance, and business outcomes. This business-led leadership role requires a seasoned treasury professional capable of driving process standardization, optimizing value from treasury technology investments, and partnering closely with business and IT teams to deliver effective treasury solutions. The role serves as the bridge between treasury operations and technology, ensuring treasury requirements are translated into scalable, sustainable, and value-driven business solutions.

Key Responsibilities:

- Lead the global Treasury Center of Excellence (CoE) and define the target operating model.

- Own global treasury processes across FX, liquidity, funding, trade finance, investments, and cash management.

- Drive process standardization, governance, and continuous improvement across regions.

- Act as the business lead for treasury transformation, process design, and technology enablement.

- Partner with SAP and IT teams to deliver scalable, business-aligned solutions.

- Optimize cash, funding, and risk management outcomes.

- Govern the global treasury template and oversee local process exceptions.

- Ensure effective integration across treasury, finance, banking, and enterprise systems.

- Maintain a robust control and compliance framework in partnership with Finance, Risk, and Audit teams.

Key Requirements:

- Strong expertise in corporate treasury operations, governance, and transformation.

- Deep knowledge of FX, liquidity, funding, trade finance, cash management, and treasury controls.

- Proven experience designing and optimizing global treasury processes and operating models.

- Ability to translate business requirements into effective technology solutions.

- Strong stakeholder management, influencing, and communication skills.

- Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and decision-making capabilities.

- Experience working with senior leadership and cross-functional teams.

Experience & Qualifications:

- 8-10 years of corporate treasury experience, including front, middle, and back-office operations.

- Hands-on experience across cash management, liquidity, funding, trade finance, FX risk management, and controls.

- Experience in large, multi-country organizations and treasury transformation programs.

- Exposure to Treasury Management Systems (TMS), ERP platforms, and digital initiatives.

- Proven ability to lead cross-functional projects involving business, finance, and technology teams.

- Bachelor's degree in Finance, Commerce, Business Administration, Economics, Engineering, or related field.

- MBA, CA, CFA, CTP, or equivalent professional qualification preferred.

- Knowledge of SAP Treasury Management or similar treasury platforms is desirable.
