With control of technologies end-to-end, D2C model, and product roadmap to address consumer needs of personal mobility across price segments and form factors, Ola Electric is disrupting traditional automobile OEMs in the country Ola also extends its consumer offerings like micro-insurance, credit-led payments, and other financial products through Ola Financial Services which complements both ride-hailing and EV business Roles and Responsibility : - Overall responsibility for delivering Financial, Cost and Compliance controls at the plant as well as working with the plant team to achieve all KPI's of the plant - Track S&OP Plan vs Actual - identify key issues/bottlenecks in Production, Quality, Maintenance and drive cross functional teams to to close them - Review Capex proposal, Service Contract, Logistic contract relevant to BU's to ensure it relevance to business requirement, financial terms and conditions, justification of price, taxation, budget availability - Monitor capital expenditure spending against budget and capitalization of open items and facilitate asset tagging - Controlling plant overheads. To track plant performances on a regular basis and drive attention to key performance indicator driving cost reduction and waste elimination initiatives at the plant - Responsible for month end closing activity and reporting - Provide Variance analysis report of actuals against annual budget plan to the management. Work with the plant's managers to prepare a comprehensive annual operating plan (budget) to implement the plant's overall operating plan and establish operating and financial plans and commitments for the year. Assist in the preparation of interim financial projections - Handling MIS and various reporting related to the Management - Good Communication skill & team player so that maintain proper coordination with plant head, cross functional heads & Senior Management to explain results, make improvements, manage projects, Identify inefficiencies, understand operations and lead the development of complex analysis Preferred Skills, Domain Experience : - CA/ ICWA (ICWA Ranker only) with manufacturing experience at manufacturing plant - 15 to 18 years of post qualification experience in similar role - This role requires advanced experience in the Finance, Manufacturing environment, Strong ERP preferably SAP exposure and Product Costing experience - Strong automotive experience and EV experience will be an advantage - Strong analytical skills and ability to synthesize complex information into actionable insights - Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to effectively communicate complex concepts and strategies to senior leadership and cross-functional teams - Experience leading and managing teams, with a focus on fostering a culture of collaboration, innovation, and continuous improvement
