Job Description:
Key Responsibilities:
1. Financial Reporting & Controllership:
- Manage month-end, quarter-end, and year-end financial closing activities.
- Ensure timely preparation and finalization of financial statements in accordance with Ind AS, IFRS, and applicable accounting standards.
- Oversee financial reporting, consolidation, and regulatory reporting requirements.
- Review financial statements and disclosures for accuracy and compliance.
- Ensure adherence to Schedule III and other statutory reporting requirements.
- Conduct detailed General Ledger (GL) scrutiny and account reconciliations.
- Maintain a clean, accurate, and well-reconciled ledger environment.
2. Compliance & Regulatory Management:
- Ensure compliance with all direct and indirect tax regulations and statutory requirements.
- Oversee regulatory filings and compliance deliverables related to:
i. TDS
ii. GST/VAT
iii. Professional Tax
iv. Corporate Compliance
v. Other statutory obligations
- Monitor changes in accounting and regulatory frameworks and implement necessary updates.
3. Audit Management:
- Coordinate and manage statutory, internal, and external audits.
- Act as the primary point of contact for auditors and regulatory authorities.
- Ensure timely closure of audit observations and recommendations.
- Strengthen internal controls and compliance frameworks.
4. Treasury & Cash Management:
- Manage treasury accounting and banking operations.
- Monitor cash flow, liquidity planning, and fund utilization.
- Ensure accurate bank reconciliations and treasury reporting.
- Support working capital optimization initiatives.
5. International Reporting & Consolidation:
- Oversee reporting requirements for international operations.
- Coordinate with global finance teams for consolidation activities.
- Ensure consistency and accuracy in cross-border financial reporting.
- Support international accounting and reporting requirements under IFRS.
6. MIS & Business Reporting:
- Prepare and review Management Information System (MIS) reports.
- Analyze financial performance and provide actionable insights to leadership.
- Support business planning, budgeting, forecasting, and variance analysis.
- Develop dashboards and reporting mechanisms for decision-making.
7. Corporate Governance & Secretarial Support:
- Support board reporting and Audit Committee presentations.
- Coordinate secretarial and governance-related activities.
- Ensure compliance with corporate governance standards and regulatory requirements.
8. Team Leadership:
- Lead, mentor, and develop a team of finance professionals.
- Drive accountability, performance, and continuous improvement within the team.
- Foster collaboration across finance and business functions.

- Experience with ERP systems and financial reporting tools.
- Strong Excel and financial modeling skills.
- Exposure to automation and digital finance initiatives.
