Project Management & Asset Manager (Glass Jar Project)
Role Overview:
We are looking for a dynamic Project Management & Asset Manager to lead the end-to-end execution of our Glass Jar manufacturing project. The role involves managing the project from conceptualisation through commissioning, including CAPEX planning, ROIC/ROI analysis, statutory liaisoning, and project execution. Post-commissioning, the individual will take complete ownership of the asset by driving its P&L, optimising operations, and leading cross-functional teams across Sales, Production, Finance, Procurement, and Supply Chain to ensure sustainable business growth.
Key Responsibilities:
Project Planning & Execution:
- Lead end-to-end project execution from planning to commissioning.
- Develop project timelines, budgets, and execution plans while ensuring timely completion.
- Coordinate with internal stakeholders, consultants, contractors, and vendors for seamless project delivery.
- Monitor project milestones, costs, quality, and risk mitigation.
CAPEX & Financial Planning:
- Prepare and manage project CAPEX budgets and investment plans.
- Evaluate project feasibility through ROI/ROIC, payback, and financial analysis.
- Track project expenditures and ensure cost optimisation throughout execution.
- Present project updates and financial performance to leadership.
Liaisoning & Compliance:
- Liaise with government authorities, regulatory bodies, utility providers, and local agencies for approvals and clearances.
- Coordinate statutory approvals related to land, construction, environmental, power, and factory operations.
- Ensure compliance with all applicable legal and regulatory requirements.
Asset Management & Business Operations:
- Take complete ownership of the manufacturing asset after commissioning.
- Drive overall P&L performance and achieve revenue, profitability, and cost optimization targets.
- Develop business strategies to maximize asset utilization and operational efficiency.
- Monitor key business and operational KPIs and implement continuous improvement initiatives.
Cross-Functional Leadership:
- Lead and coordinate teams across Sales, Production, Finance, Procurement, Maintenance, Quality, and Supply Chain.
- Align production planning with market demand and sales forecasts.
- Ensure efficient inventory management, cost control, and working capital optimization.
- Foster collaboration across departments to achieve business objectives.
Stakeholder & Vendor Management:
- Build strong relationships with key suppliers, contractors, customers, and external stakeholders.
- Negotiate commercial agreements and manage vendor performance.
- Support business expansion and strategic initiatives related to the asset.
Desired Qualifications:
- 2+ years of experience in Project Management, Manufacturing Operations, Asset Management, or Business Operations.
- Experience in handling industrial projects involving CAPEX planning and execution.
- Exposure to liaisoning with government authorities and regulatory agencies.
- Strong understanding of manufacturing operations, financial analysis, and P&L management.
- Excellent leadership, stakeholder management, negotiation, and problem-solving skills.
- Proficiency in MS Excel, PowerPoint, and project management tools.
