Role Overview:

As the Lead - Industrial Relations, you will be responsible for fostering a positive and compliant work environment across OFB TECH Pvt Ltd's Gurgaon/Gurugram operations. This role involves managing all aspects of industrial relations, ensuring adherence to labor laws, handling grievances effectively, and building strong relationships with relevant stakeholders. You will collaborate closely with HR, legal, and operations teams to proactively address potential issues and maintain a harmonious employer-employee relationship, ultimately contributing to a productive and engaged workforce.

Key Responsibilities:

- Develop and implement comprehensive industrial relations strategies and policies to ensure compliance with all applicable labor laws and regulations.

- Manage and resolve employee grievances and disputes effectively and efficiently, ensuring fair and consistent application of company policies.

- Conduct thorough investigations of employee complaints and allegations, preparing detailed reports and recommending appropriate corrective actions.

- Represent the company in conciliation proceedings, labor court hearings, and other legal forums related to industrial relations matters.

- Build and maintain strong relationships with labor authorities, unions (if applicable), and other relevant external stakeholders.

- Provide guidance and training to managers and employees on industrial relations matters, promoting a culture of compliance and mutual respect.

- Monitor and analyze industrial relations trends and developments, identifying potential risks and opportunities for improvement.

- Ensure accurate and timely filing of all statutory returns and reports related to labor laws and regulations.

- Conduct regular audits of HR practices and policies to ensure compliance with legal requirements and best practices.

- Advise the organization on all matters related to compliance, labour laws and statutory requirements.

Required Skillset:

- Demonstrated ability to develop and implement effective industrial relations strategies and policies.

- Proven expertise in grievance handling, dispute resolution, and labor law compliance.

- Excellent communication, interpersonal, and negotiation skills to effectively interact with diverse stakeholders.

- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills to identify and address complex industrial relations issues.

- Ability to interpret and apply labor laws and regulations accurately and consistently.

- Experience in liaising with labor authorities and representing the company in legal proceedings.

- Bachelor's degree in Human Resources, Law, or a related field; a Master's degree is preferred.

- 8-15 years of relevant experience in industrial relations, HR compliance, and labor relations.
