Market Research Specialist Department: Digital Transformation Research on : Chemicals and Polymers Commodities. Role: Market Research Specialist Location: Gurgaon Responsibilities: - Identifies and defines the objective of an assigned research commodity; determines the best methods to use to meet those objectives. - Collect data on consumers, competitors and marketplace and consolidate information into actionable items, reports, and presentations. - Research and compiles data related to current product market, customer demographics and interest, and factors influencing product demand; analyses results to identify ways, which will help user in taking the decisions. - Daily price assessment of the product/ commodity in domestic and international Market. - Involving Primary research, maintenance of rapport with key contacts, and regularly connecting with industry stakeholders to gain market intelligence. - Writing market commentaries, news, analysis, and market outlooks to illustrate trends and analysis. - Performs other related duties as assigned. Qualifications: - Excellent organizational skills and attention to detail. - Superior research and analytical skills. - Ability to translate complex concepts and methodologies into easily understood language. - Proficient with Microsoft Office Suite or related software. - Proven Market Research Analysis experience - Ability to interpret large amounts of data and to multi-task - Strong communication and presentation skills - Excellent knowledge of Excel, Search engines, web analytics and business research tools acumen - Adequate knowledge of data collection methods (polls, focus groups, surveys etc) - Working knowledge of data warehousing, modelling, and mining - Strong analytical and critical thinking - Prior Experience in research field.
