Position Summary:
The Practice Manager or Business Operations Manager at Onity, as part of the Leadership Excellence and Development Program (LEAD), will be instrumental in driving process improvement initiatives across global business units, working cross-functionally to identify and address areas of inefficiency. This high-impact role involves conducting in-depth data analysis, developing and deploying analytical models and financial tools, and crafting executive-level communication to support strategic decision-making. About LEAD - Leadership Excellence And Development Program
The LEAD Program is a prestigious two-year leadership development initiative designed to build a resilient, future-ready talent pipeline. Through four six-month cross-functional rotations across business segments and corporate functions, participants gain hands-on experience, strategic exposure, and structured mentoring from senior leaders. The program emphasizes leadership agility, operational excellence, and innovation, preparing participants to take on pivotal roles, contribute to key functions, and drive organizational growth.
With targeted learning, coaching, and real-world business challenges, LEAD fosters strategic thinking, cross-functional expertise, and a continuous improvement mindset, strengthening long-term business resilience. Job Functions and Responsibilities:
- Collaborate with Business Unit leadership to drive key goals, engage cross-functional teams, and report progress to Senior Management in a way that informs and influences action
- Deliver integrated business plans and controls that align with enterprise-wide goals
- Build deep domain knowledge across specific business areas to understand operational cost structures and decision-making impact
- Prepare compelling proposals and strategic communication materials for internal leadership and key external stakeholders, including investors and rating agencies
- Enhance business operations planning and reporting frameworks for improved transparency and accountability
- Champion data science and analytics as a core capability to drive insight-led transformation across business units
- Lead efforts in talent management by aligning workforce planning with business strategy and promoting a high-performance culture
- Support organizational culture transformation through change management and leadership engagement
Partner with global teams and SMEs to:
- Identify process inefficiencies
- Implement robust process controls for early detection of operational leaks
- Conduct advanced database analysis and develop:
- Predictive models or Financial models (optional, modify as suitable)
- Analytical tools to support strategic decision-making
- Drive cross-segment initiatives focused on:
- Optimizing span of control (optional, modify as suitable)
- Enhancing staffing and incentive models
- Integrating AI technology solutions to improve process efficiency
Key Result Areas:
- Define and track strategic KPIs aligned with the organization's Service Excellence philosophy, leveraging data analytics to monitor performance and drive continuous improvement in customer satisfaction
- Foster a high-performance culture by promoting leadership development, nurturing talent, and implementing initiatives that enhance employee engagement and retention
- Champion change management by supporting organizational transformation efforts and embedding a culture of agility, innovation, and accountability across teams
- Integrate technology solutions to streamline operations, improve decision-making, and enhance service delivery through automation and digital tools
- Allocate resources effectively and drive ownership among team members to ensure timely execution of strategic objectives and measurable business outcomes
- Utilize data science and analytics to generate actionable insights, optimize resource planning, and support predictive decision-making across business functions
Qualifications:
- Full-time MBA or equivalent management degree from a Tier-1 business school
- 0-2 years of relevant professional experience, preferably in operations, analytics, or strategy roles
- Proficient in database management systems such as Microsoft Access or SQL
- Advanced skills in Microsoft Office Suite, including Excel, PowerPoint, and Word
- Strong leadership capabilities with exceptional presentation, communication, and stakeholder management skills
