Role Objective - We are looking for an SAP S/4HANA FI/CO Certified Consultant to support day-to-day business operations in a live retail environment. The primary responsibility of this role is production support, issue resolution, and ensuring smooth functioning of financial processes in SAP S/4HANA. The role will also involve handling small enhancements and continuous improvements based on business requirements.

On a typical day you will drive the following

- Production Support: Deliver L2/L3 functional support for SAP S/4HANA FI/CO, ensuring system stability and SLA compliance for daily transactions and period-end (Month/Quarter/Year) closing.

- Technical Problem Solving: Perform root cause analysis (RCA) on production issues and oversee the end-to-end resolution of functional errors. Permanent fixes for recurring issues with configuration or small customizations.

- Enhancements: Gather requirements, design functional specifications, and perform system configuration for minor enhancements and continuous improvements. Maintain all the required documentation in the repository.

- Cross-Module Integration: Support seamless integration across MM (P2P), SD (OTC), and Inventory Accounting within the Universal Journal (ACDOCA) framework.

Modules in Scope FI - GL, AR, AP, Asset Accounting, Treasury & REFX. CO - Cost/Profit Center Accounting, COPA, Budget, Internal Orders & Allocations.

- Lead / take part in the regression and UAT testing for FI/CO related changes along with documentation.

You will bring the following to the table:

- Bachelor/Master's degree in Finance, MBA Finance or a related discipline.

- Minimum 5 to 6 years of firsthand experience in SAP S/4 HANA FICO with Retail Finance Processes

- Practical experience with S/4HANA RISE (Private or Public Cloud) operations and cloud-based SAP support models.

- Experience in high transaction volume environments and ability to work independently in a support-driven environment with ownership mindset.

- Exceptional understanding of Universal Journals and Knowledge of integration points with other modules (MM, SD, FI, CO & REFX) and interfaces via CPI is desirable.

- Familiarity with configuration related to statutory compliances, i.e. (GST, TDS, etc.) based on geography is an advantage.

- Experience in Managing and support Business Users in production environments for day-to-day operations.

- FIORI - Support for Transactional and Analytical Apps.

Preferred Certification

- SAP Certified Application Associate - SAP S/4HANA FI Certification is Mandatory. (CO Certification preferred).
