Role Overview:
The Deputy General Manager - Sales will lead the sales function, focusing on driving revenue through cinema advertisement sales, brand tie-ups, and enhancing customer satisfaction. This role demands strategic thinking, strong leadership, and the ability to manage key client relationships while driving the sales team towards achieving business objectives.
Key Responsibilities & KRAs:
- Achieve and exceed assigned sales targets for on-screen and off-screen advertisement sales.
- Lead and manage the cinema advertising sales team, ensuring high performance and motivation.
- Build and maintain strong relationships with key clients and brands for long-term partnerships.
- Strategize and execute brand tie-ups, sponsorships, and special promotional campaigns.
- Identify new business opportunities in cinema ad space and explore untapped markets.
- Oversee the end-to-end sales cycle - prospecting, pitching, negotiation, and closing.
- Coordinate with operations and marketing teams to ensure seamless execution of campaigns.
- Monitor market trends, competitor activities, and customer needs to adapt sales strategies.
- Ensure high levels of customer satisfaction by resolving issues and providing timely solutions.
- Prepare regular sales performance reports and present insights to the senior management.
Key Skill Sets Required:
- Proven experience in Sales, preferably in Advertising, Media, or Entertainment industries.
- Strong customer service orientation with the ability to build lasting client relationships.
- Excellent communication, negotiation, and interpersonal skills.
- Solid leadership and team management capabilities.
- Analytical mindset to assess market trends and generate actionable insights.
- Ability to work independently and manage hybrid work responsibilities effectively.
