Position Summary:
The Founder's Office works with the CEO and the leadership team on the company's most important priorities. Reporting to the Chief of Staff to the CEO. You will take ownership of key initiatives across NxtWave and NIAT and drive them from idea to outcome, working closely with the teams who will run them. This is an ownership role, not a coordination role: you will be measured on what gets done.
Key Responsibilities:
1. Driving priority initiatives:
- Take ownership of key initiatives from the CEO's office and see them through from planning to launch and handover.
- Work across teams such as product, tech, content, operations and finance, and with external partners where needed.
2. Analysis and decision support:
- Do the analysis behind important decisions: gather the data, frame the options and make a clear recommendation.
- Support the leadership team's review rhythm and make sure decisions are followed through to closure.
3. Ground understanding:
- Spend time on NIAT campuses with students, instructors and university teams to understand what is working and what is not.
- Turn what you learn into practical fixes, each with a clear owner.
4. Building systems:
- Set up the trackers, dashboards and processes that help teams run better, and that keep working after you move on.
- Use AI tools in everyday work, and help teams do the same.
5. New initiatives:
- Support new programmes and business lines in their early stages, from planning and market analysis to launch.
Requirements:
- At least 1 - 2 years of experience in a founder's office, CEO's office, or a strategy or business-operations role at a startup.
- Has taken at least one initiative from zero to one, end to end, and can speak to their own contribution.
- An MBA from a top B-school is preferred, though relevant founder's-office experience counts for more. A strong academic background (IIT, IIM, ISB, BITS or equivalent) is preferred.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills; comfortable working with data and spreadsheets.
- Clear, concise communication, both written and spoken.
- Able to work with senior stakeholders and get things done without formal authority.
- Comfortable using AI tools in day-to-day work.
Location: Hyderabad, India (office-based, with regular travel to NIAT campuses)
