
Key Responsibilities:
- Gather, analyze, and document business requirements related to finance and accounting processes.
- Configure and support Oracle Finance modules based on business needs and best practices.
- Collaborate with business stakeholders, finance teams, and technical teams to implement Oracle ERP solutions.
- Participate in end-to-end implementation, rollout, enhancement, and support projects.
- Perform gap analysis and recommend process improvements and system optimizations.
Configure and support finance modules such as:
- General Ledger (GL)
- Accounts Payable (AP)
- Accounts Receivable (AR)
- Fixed Assets (FA)
- Cash Management (CM)
- Expense Management
- Subledger Accounting (SLA)
- Support period-end and year-end financial closing activities.
- Prepare functional design documents, business process documents, and configuration documents.
- Coordinate with technical teams for customizations, integrations, reports, and data migration activities.
- Support testing activities including SIT, UAT, regression testing, and defect resolution.
- Conduct user training sessions and provide post-implementation support.
- Troubleshoot functional issues and provide timely resolutions.
- Ensure compliance with finance policies, controls, and audit requirements.
- Participate in system upgrades, patches, and release management activities.
- Support continuous improvement initiatives and process automation projects.
Required Skills & Expertise:
- 5-10 years of experience as an Oracle Finance Functional Consultant.
- Strong functional expertise in Oracle Financial modules.
- Experience in Oracle E-Business Suite (EBS) or Oracle Fusion Cloud Finance.
- Strong understanding of finance and accounting business processes.
- Experience in requirement gathering, fit-gap analysis, and solution configuration.
- Knowledge of Oracle workflows, approvals, and finance controls.
- Understanding of integrations between Oracle Finance and other enterprise systems.
- Experience working with technical teams for reports, interfaces, conversions, and enhancements.
- Familiarity with SQL and reporting tools is an added advantage.
- Experience in implementation, support, upgrade, or migration projects.
- Strong analytical, troubleshooting, and communication skills.
- Ability to interact effectively with finance stakeholders and leadership teams.
Preferred Skills:
- Oracle Finance certification is preferred.
- Experience with Oracle Fusion Cloud implementations.
- Knowledge of tax, compliance, and regulatory reporting processes.
- Exposure to procurement, SCM, or project accounting modules.
- Experience working in global or multi-country finance environments.
- Familiarity with Agile project methodologies.
Educational Qualification:
- CA, CMA, MBA Finance, or equivalent qualification is an added advantage.
