Nuvama - Investment Banking Role - Consumer & Retail Sector

About the Role:

We are seeking a high-caliber individual to join our Investment Banking Division with a focus on the Consumer & Retail sector.

The role offers significant exposure to M&A, capital raising, and strategic advisory transactions, working closely with senior bankers and marquee clients across the sector.

This position is ideal for candidates with strong analytical capabilities and transaction experience.

1. Transaction Execution :

- Support end-to-end execution of Mergers & Acquisitions (M&A), private equity fundraising, and Equity Capital Market (ECM) transactions Consumer & Retail sector.

- Build and review financial models, valuation analyses, and transaction materials (IMs, teasers, management presentations).

- Coordinate with internal teams, clients, and external advisors to manage diligence, documentation, and timelines.

- Ensure high-quality deliverables and smooth deal execution.

2. Client Coverage & Pitching :

- Support senior bankers in managing relationships and origination efforts with Consumer sector clients.

- Prepare and review pitchbooks, strategic presentations, and transaction proposals for existing and prospective clients.

- Assist in identifying business opportunities and developing tailored solutions for clients.

- Participate in client meetings and contribute to idea generation.

3. Research & Market Intelligence :

- Conduct sector-specific research covering industry trends, deal activity, and competitive dynamics within the Consumer & Retail sector.

- Develop sector insights, benchmarking analyses, and comparable transaction databases.

- Provide market intelligence to support strategic discussions and client engagements.

- Contribute to sector updates, internal knowledge resources, and thought leadership.
