Nuvama - Associate/Senior Associate - Investment Banking - Industrial & Infra

Role Summary :

The incumbent will be responsible for assisting in the execution of financial transactions. This role involves financial analysis, due diligence, client interaction, and the creation of presentation materials.

This role collaborates closely with cross-functional teams to provide clients with strategic insights in deal origination and help them achieve their financial goals.

Key Responsibilities :

- Support Senior Bankers in business development activities: Actively being involved from deal origination to execution to closure. Drafting client pitches and enabling the winning of the mandate.

- Analyzing & understanding financial statements

- Maintenance and preparation of financial models with specific Sector Knowledge and inputs

- Support in ideation of Investment Banking transactions and tracking industry trends (and update Senior Bankers)

- Conducting Industry and Company specific research including supporting Thought Leadership initiatives

- Attending Client Meetings and Drafting Sessions

- Coordinate with internal teams, clients, legal advisors, other banks, regulators, and other transaction stakeholders.

Qualifications & Experience :

- MBA/PGDM in Finance from a reputed institution and/or a professional qualification such as CA/CFA preferred.

- 4 to 5 years of relevant Investment Banking experience, with exposure to the Industrial & Infrastructure sector.

- Strong expertise in financial modelling, valuation, and financial statement analysis, with handson experience in transaction execution.

- Proficiency in MS Excel and PowerPoint, along with financial databases such as Bloomberg, FactSet, Capital IQ, Mergermarket, and VCCEdge.

- Strong analytical, communication, presentation, and stakeholder management skills.

- High attention to detail and ownership, with the ability to manage multiple priorities in a fastpaced, transactiondriven environment.
