Role Overview:

As the Nutraceuticals Specialist/Head, you will be instrumental in driving the strategic direction and execution of our nutraceutical product portfolio. You will lead cross-functional teams, collaborating closely with R&D, Regulatory Affairs, Marketing, and Supply Chain to translate scientific insights into market-ready products. This role significantly impacts our ability to innovate, expand our market presence, and ultimately enhance consumer well-being through superior nutritional solutions, positioning ANVKA HEALTHCARE as a leader in the nutraceutical space.

Key Responsibilities:

- Lead and oversee comprehensive Nutritional Research and scientific validation for new product concepts, ensuring evidence-based efficacy for target consumers.

- Drive end-to-end Formulation Development of novel nutraceutical products, ensuring optimal bioavailability, stability, and consumer appeal.

- Apply robust Pharma R&D principles and methodologies to nutraceutical product development, ensuring scientific rigor and quality standards.

- Manage all aspects of Regulatory Affairs for nutraceutical products, ensuring full compliance with national and international guidelines and facilitating timely product approvals.

- Integrate deep Consumer Insights into the product development lifecycle, identifying market gaps and opportunities to create highly relevant and desirable products.

- Establish and implement stringent Food Safety and quality assurance protocols throughout the product lifecycle, from raw material sourcing to finished goods.

- Provide expert Nutritionist guidance for product positioning, claims substantiation, and consumer education initiatives.

- Develop and execute effective Go To Market strategies for new product launches, collaborating seamlessly with sales, marketing, and supply chain teams.

- Explore and apply principles of Biotechnology where relevant for innovative ingredient sourcing, process optimization, and enhanced product functionality.

- Lead the entire Product Development process from ideation and concept generation through to commercialization, ensuring project timelines and budget adherence.

Required Skillset:

- A strong scientific foundation in Nutritional Research, Food Science, Pharmacy, or related life sciences, demonstrated through academic background and professional experience.

- Proven expertise in Formulation Development and Product Development within the nutraceutical, functional food, or pharmaceutical industry.

- In-depth understanding and practical experience with Regulatory Affairs pertaining to nutraceuticals, dietary supplements, and health foods in India and key international markets.

- Demonstrated ability to leverage Consumer Insights to inform product strategy, identify market needs, and drive innovation.

- Comprehensive knowledge of Food Safety management systems, quality control, and assurance processes.

- Exceptional leadership, project management, and cross-functional collaboration skills, with a track record of building and mentoring high-performing teams.

- Excellent written and verbal communication abilities, capable of engaging effectively with scientific, regulatory, commercial, and external stakeholders.

- A Master's or Ph.D. in Nutrition, Food Science, Pharmacy, Biotechnology, or a related field is highly preferred.

- Minimum of 8 to 15 years of progressive experience in Nutraceuticals, Pharma R&D, or related sectors, with a significant portion in a leadership or senior specialist capacity.

- Ability to thrive in a fast-paced, innovative environment and contribute strategically from our Gurgaon/Gurugram office.
