As we scale globally, we are looking for a Technical Accounting Manager in India to ensure our accounting operations remain robust, compliant, and forward-looking. About The Role As a Technical Accounting Manager, you will be a key advisor to our global finance team, driving technical accounting excellence across a variety of complex areas. This role requires deep expertise in U.S. GAAP and IFRS, the ability to lead policy implementation, and the capacity to influence internal stakeholders and auditors alike. This is a high-impact, hands-on role with broad exposure across the business and significant opportunity for growth. Key Responsibilities - Lead technical accounting research on complex topics including revenue recognition (ASC 606), lease accounting (ASC 842), and business combinations (ASC 805). - Draft and maintain robust technical accounting memos, policy documents, and process guidance. - Provide accounting leadership for business transactions, including M&A due diligence and post-deal integration. - Support external audit requests and drive resolution of accounting issues. - Collaborate with cross-functional teams including Legal, FP&A, and Business Operations to assess accounting implications of contracts and strategic decisions. - Maintain a strong internal control environment and support SOX readiness as needed. - Mentor junior team members and foster technical development within the broader finance team. Knowledge and Experience - Bachelors or Masters degree in Accounting or Finance. - CPA (U.S.) certification. - 12+ years of progressive accounting experience, ideally with a combination of Big 4/public accounting and corporate technical accounting roles. - Strong command of U.S. GAAP; exposure to international standards IFRS a plus. - Proven experience researching and applying complex accounting standards. - Excellent communication skills with the ability to work effectively across time zones and functions. - High integrity, attention to detail, and strong organizational skills. Specific Skills - Experience in a high-growth technology or SaaS environment. - Familiarity with ERP systems such as NetSuite. - Prior involvement in IPO readiness or public company reporting (Form 10-K/Q) is a plus. - Comfortable working remotely and independently in a distributed team structure.
