What will you do:

- The Research Analyst will conduct surveys and analyze customer preferences and data to provide insights for product designs, pricing, and promotions.

- They will identify trends, evaluate competition, and assess strategies to improve competitiveness, while presenting actionable findings to support decision-making.

Job responsibilities:

Data Collection & Analysis:

- Collect and analyse primary and secondary data on customer demographics, preferences, and market trends to identify growth opportunities.

- Use multiple research methods (surveys, interviews, industry reports) to gain insights into customer behaviour and market dynamics.

- Perform quantitative and qualitative analysis to convert raw data into actionable insights for product development, pricing, and strategy.

- Prepare reports with clear, visual data representations (charts, graphs) to make complex findings easily digestible for stakeholders.

- Monitor competitors' strategies, pricing, and market positioning through secondary research to inform strategic decisions.

- Track industry trends and key metrics to ensure business strategies remain aligned with evolving market conditions.

- Integrate insights from both primary and secondary research to recommend improvements and optimize offerings.

Market Research:

- Perform reliable SWOT analysis on research findings based on both primary and secondary data.

- Use secondary research tools and resources to track market changes, competitor moves, and customer behaviours.

- Prepare detailed reports, offering strategic recommendations backed by both primary and secondary insights.

Competitive Analysis:

- Provide in-depth analysis of competitors' market offerings, pricing strategies, and distribution methods based on secondary research.

- Ensure that data gathered through secondary research is accurate and aligned with current market trends.

Trend Monitoring:

- Continuously monitor market trends through secondary research and external research, applying best practices where necessary to stay ahead of industry shifts.

- Stay updated on new developments in the Fintech and payment app industries through secondary data to spot emerging opportunities and challenges.

What are we looking for:

- Strong ability to interpret large datasets from both primary and secondary sources and derive actionable insights for decision-making.

- Exceptional communication and presentation skills (both written and verbal) to articulate complex findings to diverse stakeholders.

- Proficiency in MS Office (Excel, PowerPoint, Word) and familiarity with statistical analysis tools (SPSS, SAS).

- Expertise in secondary research tools, web analytics, and business research tools to gather relevant market data.

- Strong analytical and critical thinking skills, with a passion for digging into data to find meaningful insights.

- A self-motivated professional with the ability to solve problems proactively and independently.

- Entrepreneurial skills, ability to observe, innovate, and own your work.

- Detail-oriented and organized with strong time management skills.
