Job Summary:

- The Assistant Sales Manager plays a key role in supporting the Sales Manager to drive sales growth, manage the sales team, and maintain strong customer relationships.


- The role involves assisting in the development and execution of sales strategies, handling client interactions, and achieving sales targets.

Key Responsibilities:

- Assist the Sales Manager in developing and implementing effective sales strategies.


- Support and motivate the sales team to meet or exceed sales targets.

- Identify and pursue new sales opportunities and generate leads.

- Maintain and strengthen relationships with existing and potential clients.

- Coordinate with marketing and product teams to support sales campaigns and product launches.

- Prepare sales reports and analyze sales data to identify trends and opportunities.

- Handle client inquiries, negotiate deals, and resolve issues promptly.

- Train and mentor junior sales staff when required.

- Monitor competitor activity and market trends to stay competitive.

- Ensure compliance with company policies and sales procedures.

Qualifications:

- Bachelors / master's degree in Business, Marketing, or related field.

- 2-4 years of experience in sales or business development, preferably with leadership exposure.

- Proven track record of meeting sales targets.

- Strong communication, negotiation, and interpersonal skills.

- Experience with CRM tools and Microsoft Office Suite.

- Analytical mindset with the ability to interpret sales data
