NovumLake Capital - Associate - AIF Fund Raise

Job Overview:

- Assist Fund-raise efforts for AIF / Real Estate Private Equity Fund - Direct & via Channel Partners

- Maintain & grow the network of investors / Channel partners

- The ideal candidate should possess a strong network among Channel partners & Wealth Management firms, excellent communication skills, and a deep understanding of alternative investments landscape & products

Key Responsibilities:

1. Fundraising:

- Assist Fund-raise for AIF / Real Estate Private Equity Fund

- Strategize and execute the fund raise exercises from conception to completion

2. Relationship Management:

- Maintain & grow the network of direct investors & channel partners

- Lead / assist in sourcing and execution of transactions in the nature of co-invest / syndication

Essential Attributes:

- Between 4 - 7 years relevant experience in AIF fund raise directly / through channel partners

- Track record of one or more successful AIF / fund closings

- Strong network of channel partners / potential investors and an ability to manage and grow relationships

- Excellent communication and presentation skills

- Ability to work independently as well as part of a collaborative team

- Academic background in finance with MBA / CA or equivalent

Entrepreneurial setting:

- The candidate must have the ability to work in an entrepreneurial setting / small team

- Reporting into the Managing Partner / CEO directly
