Role Overview

The Head of Institutional Sales will drive strategic growth within the institutional and corporate segment by acquiring large accounts, strengthening key relationships, and leading a high-performing sales team. The ideal candidate brings deep insurance domain expertise and a proven record of revenue success.

Key Responsibilities:

- Develop and execute the institutional sales strategy to achieve business growth and revenue targets.

- Acquire and manage large corporate and institutional accounts, focusing on General Insurance, Employee Benefits, and Risk Advisory.

- Build strong relationships with CXOs and key decision-makers, ensuring superior client experience and retention.

- Lead, mentor, and grow a high-performing institutional sales team with strong pipeline and performance management.

- Drive cross-selling and upselling opportunities across insurance product lines to maximize account value.

- Collaborate with underwriting, claims, and operations teams to deliver customized, high-quality insurance solutions.

- Monitor market trends, competitor activities, and client needs to refine sales strategy and identify new opportunities.

Qualifications & Experience:

- Graduate; MBA preferred (Finance, Marketing, Insurance).

- 10-15+ years in institutional/corporate insurance sales-preferably in broking or insurance companies.

- Strong knowledge of General Insurance, Employee Benefits, and Corporate Product Lines.

- Proven success in revenue growth and enterprise account acquisition.

- Excellent leadership, communication, and negotiation skills.
