Role Overview - Team Leader (Medical Billing - RCM)

- Novigo Services is seeking a strong and experienced Team Leader (Male) for its Medical Billing division. This role requires deep hands-on exposure to end-to-end RCM processes, excellent knowledge of US healthcare billing standards, and proven experience managing and mentoring billing teams.

- The ideal candidate will be responsible for operational delivery, team management, client communication, and ensuring high-quality performance across all medical billing functions.

Key Responsibilities

Lead and oversee the end-to-end US Healthcare Medical Billing operations, including:

- AR analysis and follow-up

- Charge entry

- Payment posting

- Denial management

- Claims follow-up and resolution

- Manage a team of billing analysts and ensure smooth day-to-day production delivery.

- Conduct regular quality audits, performance reviews, and ensure adherence to billing accuracy and productivity standards.

- Collaborate with internal teams to resolve escalations, process gaps, and workflow issues.

- Act as the primary point of contact for client communication, escalations, and operational status updates.

- Ensure SLA compliance, productivity monitoring, and continuous process improvements.

- Provide training, mentoring, and guidance to new and existing team members.

- Drive initiatives to optimize billing processes and improve operational efficiency.

- Monitor critical billing metrics (aging, denial rates, TAT, clean claim ratios) and take corrective actions.

- Maintain updated knowledge of industry rules, payer guidelines, compliance norms, and RCM best practices.

Required Skills & Expertise:

- Mandatory: 5-15 years of experience in US Healthcare Medical Billing - Non-Voice.

- Minimum 5 years total experience and at least 3-5 years in a Team Lead / Supervisor role.

Strong understanding of end-to-end RCM lifecycle:

- CPT / ICD Coding concepts

- Charge entry & claim creation

- Claim submission workflows

- EOB interpretation

- Payment posting

- AR follow-up & aging analysis

- Denial management & appeals

- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills for client interactions and escalation handling.

- Strong leadership skills with the ability to guide and motivate teams.

- Strong analytical, problem-solving, and decision-making abilities.

- Exposure to working with US physicians, hospitals, billing companies, and payer processes.

- Only Male Candidates are eligible for this position.

- Candidates must have strong operational experience in Medical Billing (RCM) Non-Voice.

- Willingness to work in fast-paced, target-driven environments.
