Role Overview - Business Development Manager (Medical Billing Process):
We are looking for an experienced Business Development Manager with deep expertise in the medical billing and revenue cycle management (RCM) domain. This role is responsible for driving business growth, acquiring new clients, nurturing partnerships, and expanding Novigo Services' footprint in the medical billing sector.
The ideal candidate will have a proven sales track record, strong domain understanding, and the ability to present customised solutions to healthcare stakeholders.
Key Responsibilities:
- Develop and execute strategic business development plans to achieve revenue targets in the medical billing domain.
- Identify and acquire new business opportunities through market research, lead generation, networking, and industry insights.
- Build and maintain long-term relationships with:
1. Healthcare providers
2. Medical facilities
3. Insurance companies
4. RCM partners and industry stakeholders
- Collaborate with internal operations, delivery, and technical teams to provide customised solutions to clients.
- Stay updated with industry trends, competition, and regulatory changes affecting medical billing and RCM.
- Prepare and deliver business proposals, client presentations, commercial discussions, and contract negotiations.
- Track and monitor sales metrics, performance dashboards, and progress against business targets.
- Provide leadership, guidance, and support to the business development team.
- Represent the organisation at industry conferences, events, and trade shows to enhance brand visibility.
- Ensure compliance with regulatory requirements (HIPAA, Medicare/Medicaid guidelines) and ethical business practices.
Qualifications:
- Bachelors degree in Business Administration, Marketing, Healthcare Management, or related field. MBA preferred.
- Minimum 5 years of proven experience in business development specifically in the medical billing / RCM industry.
Strong knowledge of:
i. Medical billing processes
ii. Healthcare reimbursement
iii. Revenue cycle management
iv. Payer regulations
- Strong familiarity with HIPAA, Medicare, Medicaid, and healthcare compliance frameworks.
- Excellent communication, stakeholder management, and negotiation skills.
- Strategic thinker with a strong achievement-driven mindset.
- Proficient in CRM tools, Microsoft Office, and business productivity applications.
- Willingness to travel for client meetings and industry events.
