Key Responsibilities:
- Manage end-to-end key account operations for government institutions (CGHS, Army, Railways, State & Central hospitals), acting as the single point of contact for all therapy areas and stakeholders.
- Drive new product inclusion in government accounts, ensuring all documentation and processes are completed for participation and onboarding.
- Engage with key decision makers (KDMs) such as Medical Directors and Heads of Departments to generate demand and grow account value.
- Coordinate with internal teams (therapy areas, demand generation, distribution units) and external stakeholders to ensure seamless servicing and supply.
- Lead and manage the tender process, including understanding clauses, rate contracts, and compliance requirements for government business.
- Forecast stock requirements, manage supply chain documentation, and ensure timely collection of payments from government accounts.
- Develop and execute customer development strategies and dedicated KAM action plans for assigned accounts, aligning on objectives and delivering results.
- Analyze market situations, including competitive intelligence on key accounts and competitors, and provide timely data for CRM and reporting.
Role Requirements:
- Proven experience in exclusive Key Account Management (KAM) for government business.
- Demonstrated ability to coordinate with therapy area teams for demand generation and tender submissions.
- Experience in engaging with KDMs and managing account growth post-inclusion.
- Strong understanding of documentation and processes required for product inclusion in government institutions.
- Ability to handle forecasting, supply coordination, and payment collection for institutional accounts.
- Degree in Science or Pharmacy (BSc/BPharma preferred).
Desirable Requirements:
- Pharma sales experience in government institutions.
- Experience in tender management and handling government tenders.
