Novac Tech - Product Manager - General Insurance Sector

We are looking for a highly motivated and experienced Product Manager / Senior Product Manager to lead the product development lifecycle from ideation to execution in the General Insurance sector (Non Motor, Property & casualty, Fire, and Marine). The ideal candidate will have a strong background in product management, experience in creating and managing BRDs (Business Requirement Documents) and FRDs (Functional Requirement Documents), and a proven track record of driving successful product launches in the insurance domain.

Key Responsibilities:

- Define and execute the product roadmap in alignment with business objectives specific to the General Insurance industry.

- Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including underwriting, claims, actuarial, engineering, design, marketing, and sales, to ensure seamless product development and delivery.

- Gather and analyze user and business requirements to create BRDs and FRDs, ensuring clear communication of business and functional needs.

- Conduct market research, competitor analysis, and regulatory assessments to identify trends and opportunities in the insurance space.

- Define key product metrics and drive data-driven decision-making.

- Work closely with stakeholders to prioritize product features and enhancements based on customer needs and compliance requirements.

- Oversee the end-to-end product lifecycle, including ideation, planning, development, launch, and post-launch optimization.

- Ensure compliance with IRDAI regulations and other industry standards in product development.

Required Skills & Qualifications:

- 8+ years of experience in product management, with at least 5+ years in the General Insurance industry.

- Strong experience in creating and managing BRDs and FRDs.

- Proven track record of successfully launching and scaling insurance products.

- Deep understanding of General Insurance products, underwriting, claims management, and regulatory requirements.

- Excellent problem-solving skills and strategic thinking abilities.

- Proficiency in Agile methodologies and experience with tools like Jira, Confluence, or similar.

- Strong analytical skills with experience in data-driven decision-making.

- Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills.

- Bachelor's/Master's degree in Business, Insurance, Engineering, Computer Science, or a related field.
