Job Overview:

Senior Associate is responsible for providing strategic advisory services for mergers, acquisitions and other types of financial transactions in coordination with the Investment Banking team. The overall objective of this role is to act as a strategic advisory to our clients by formulating investment strategies and raising capital for clients.

Key Responsibilities:

Financial Analysis:

- Conduct detailed financial modeling, valuation, and analysis of companies, industries, and potential transactions.

- Create discounted cash flow (DCF) models, comparable company analysis (CCA), and precedent transaction analysis.

Market Research:

- Conduct extensive industry research to support senior bankers in understanding market trends, competitive dynamics, and potential opportunities.

- Analyse economic and financial data to identify trends, assess risks, and develop recommendations.

- Stay updated on market trends, regulations, and financial news relevant to the banking sector.

Transaction Support:

- Assist in the preparation of client presentations, pitch books, and other marketing materials for M&A, equity offerings, and debt issuances.

- Support the due diligence process, including data gathering, financial analysis, and coordination with various stakeholders.

Client Interaction:

- Participate in meetings and calls with clients to discuss strategic options, present findings, and provide updates on ongoing projects.

- Prepare detailed client reports and presentations that summarize financial analysis, strategic recommendations, and deal terms.

- Build and maintain strong relationships with clients, helping to identify and develop new business opportunities.

- Collaborate with senior bankers to understand client needs and deliver tailored solutions

Team Collaboration:

- Work closely with analysts, senior team, and other team members to ensure seamless project execution and support. Mentor and guide junior analysts to enhance their development.

Deal Execution:

- Work closely with senior bankers and other team members to execute transactions, including drafting offering memoranda, coordinating with legal and accounting advisors, and managing project timelines.

- Monitor the progress of deals, ensuring that all aspects of the transaction are moving forward as planned.

Data Management:

- Organize and manage large sets of financial data, ensuring accuracy and accessibility for the team.

- Create and maintain databases of market and financial information for use in analysis and client presentations.
