Job Title: Senior Manager/ Head Business Finance

Experience Required: 9-13 years in financial management, with at least 5 years in a Business Finance role in the IT services industry is mandatory.

Education :- Chartered Accountant (Mandatory)

Role Overview :

- We are looking for a seasoned Business & Strategic Finance Leader to drive financial planning, performance management, and strategic decision support for our IT Services business.

- This role requires a strong Chartered Accountant with deep expertise in budgeting, forecasting, MIS, and business finance, along with proven experience in partnering with leadership to drive profitability and growth.

- The ideal candidate will bring a blend of FP&A strength, operational finance rigor, and strategic mindset, with hands-on experience in IT services financial metrics and project-driven environments.

Key Responsibilities :

Financial Strategy & Planning :

- Develop and execute the companys financial strategy to support business objectives and long-term growth.

- Lead the budgeting, forecasting, and financial planning processes, ensuring alignment with business goals.

- Provide financial insights to the CFO and leadership team to support strategic decision-making.

- Identify and manage financial risks, ensuring business continuity and long-term profitability.

MIS, Reporting & Analytics :

- Own and drive monthly MIS, dashboards, and leadership reporting

- Track key IT services KPIs such as utilization, realization, billing rates, margins, and project profitability

- Build robust financial models and performance tracking mechanisms

- Drive automation ad standardization of reporting using BI tools (Power BI/Tableau)

Business Partnering :

- Act as a strategic finance partner to delivery, sales, and operations teams

- Support deal pricing, contract structuring, and commercial negotiations

- Evaluate financial viability of new business opportunities and investments

- Influence business decisions through strong financial insights and storytelling

Financial Operations & Control :

- Oversee financial operations including P&L management, working capital, cash flow, and cost control

- Monitor project-level profitability, billing cycles, and revenue leakage

- Ensure accurate financial reporting (P&L, Balance Sheet, Cash Flow)

- Drive margin improvement and cost optimization initiatives

Governance, Compliance & Risk :

- Ensure compliance with statutory regulations, tax laws, and accounting standards

- Lead internal and external audits with strong governance practices

- Establish robust financial controls across business units

- Manage risks related to contracts, pricing, and financial exposure

Business Performance & Profitability :

- Analyze performance across service lines and accounts; recommend optimization strategies

- Drive revenue growth, margin expansion, and operational efficiency

- Implement controls around project costing, revenue recognition, and billing models
