Role Overview:

As the Academic Director at NNIIT, you will play a critical leadership role in shaping the educational vision and curriculum strategy of our platform. You will oversee the development and continuous improvement of curriculum content, ensure the highest standards of academic quality, and drive research initiatives aimed at enhancing teaching and learning outcomes. You will also be responsible for leading training programs for educators and stakeholders to foster excellence in teaching methodologies aligned with modern e-learning environments.

Key Responsibilities:

Curriculum Development & Management:

- Lead the design, development, and periodic review of curricula across subjects and grades, ensuring alignment with educational standards and learner needs. Incorporate innovative pedagogical approaches suited for e-learning platforms.

Academic Quality Assurance:

- Establish and monitor quality benchmarks for course content, assessments, and instructional delivery. Ensure academic integrity, accuracy, and relevance of all learning materials.

Research & Innovation:

- Conduct and oversee educational research to inform curriculum design and teaching strategies. Stay abreast of emerging trends in education technology, pedagogy, and assessment to integrate best practices.

Teacher & Staff Training:

- Develop and deliver training programs to empower educators with effective teaching methodologies, technology integration skills, and assessment techniques tailored to digital learning.

Strategic Planning & Implementation:

- Collaborate with product, technology, and business teams to integrate academic insights into platform features and learner engagement strategies. Support the rollout of new educational initiatives.

Stakeholder Engagement:

- Build strong relationships with educational experts, institutions, and regulatory bodies to maintain compliance and promote collaborative opportunities.

Data-Driven Improvements:

- Utilize learner analytics and feedback to drive continuous improvements in curriculum and teaching practices to enhance student outcomes.

Required Qualifications & Skills:

- Master's degree in Education, Curriculum Development, Educational Technology, or a closely related field (PhD preferred).

- Proven experience in curriculum development and academic leadership, preferably within K-12 or Edutech environments.

- Strong knowledge of pedagogical principles and modern teaching methodologies, particularly in digital or blended learning contexts.

- Demonstrated expertise in educational research, assessment design, and training program development.

- Experience working with e-learning platforms, digital content creation tools, and LMS systems is highly desirable.

- Exceptional leadership, organizational, and project management skills.

- Excellent verbal and written communication skills with the ability to collaborate effectively across diverse teams.
