Description:
Key Responsibilities:
Branch Leadership & Operations:
- Oversee day-to-day branch operations, ensuring a seamless workflow between sales, credit, and administrative departments.
- Foster a high-performance culture by managing, mentoring, and motivating branch staff to exceed KPIs.
Business Development & Portfolio Management:
- Drive strategies to acquire new clients in the Gandhinagar region, focusing on rural and semi-urban housing finance needs.
- Manage the end-to-end Loan Lifecycle, ensuring timely processing of applications while maintaining a healthy loan book.
Credit Analysis & Risk Mitigation:
- Collaborate with the credit team to conduct thorough assessments of applicant profiles and property valuations.
- Ensure strict adherence to National Housing Bank (NHB) guidelines and internal credit policies to minimize Non-Performing Assets (NPAs).
Relationship & Stakeholder Management:
- Serve as the primary point of contact for high-value clients and community partners.
- Build and maintain a strong local network to increase the brand's presence in the regional market.
Compliance & Reporting:
- Ensure the branch remains 100% compliant with regulatory requirements and internal audit standards.
- Prepare and present detailed financial and operational reports to the regional/corporate office.
Required Qualifications & Technical Skills:
- Core Experience: Minimum of 5 years in financial services, with significant experience in Home Loans (HL) or Loan Against Property (LAP).
- Managerial Expertise: Proven track record in a managerial role within a Bank or NBFC/HFC environment.
- Credit & Analysis: Strong command over credit analysis, financial statement evaluation, and mortgage documentation.
- Local Market Knowledge: Deep understanding of the Gandhinagar/Gujarat regional market and proficiency in local languages to effectively communicate with the customer base.
- Education: Bachelors or Master's degree in Finance, Business Administration, or a related field (MBA preferred).
Technical & Behavioral Stack:
- Sector Knowledge: Housing Finance Regulatory Framework (NHB/RBI).
- Financial Skills: Credit Appraisal, NPA Management, Disbursement Targets.
- Soft Skills: Negotiation, Strategic Planning, Conflict Resolution, Mentorship
