Description:

You will be the end-to-end owner of the International Money Transfer product within the cross-border remittance pod.

You will be responsible for building a best-in-class, differentiated global neo-banking experience for India, with a focus on International Money Transfer.

This includes the existing Send Money Abroad for Students feature and leading the research, conceptualization, execution, launch, and adoption of new purpose codes (family maintenance, travel, medical, etc.

You will have complete ownership and will be working closely with the related PMs, design team, tech team, customer service team, operations team, and key partners like Kanji (Niyo's AD2 license holder) and AD1 Banks, as well as business & compliance stakeholders.

Key Accountabilities And Decision Ownership:

- Create and manage product roadmap, build business cases, pitch ideas and gain buy-in from stakeholders.

- Drive the launch of new International Money Transfer purpose codes (e.g., family maintenance, travel, medical) to expand the current offering beyond Students.

- Own user research and continuously talk to users on a weekly basis.

- Analyse chats and come up with actionable customer insights, which could then be used for improvements in product.

- Work with teams of engineers, designers, data scientists, operations and customer support team to build delightful, outstanding products.

- Drive the execution of all product lifecycle processes for products, including research, competitive analysis, planning, requirements development, project management and product launch.

- Track product adoption, funnel conversions, A/B tests, etc., and optimize them to achieve business, product and operations team objectives.

- Drive process improvements that benefit both the customers and the internal operations team.

- Create and own customer communication journeys, aimed at increasing the NPS and funnel metrics.

- Own the Remittance product P&L, and work with channel owners and branches to define and achieve business targets.

- Lead regulatory and partnership aspects by working directly with Kanji Forex (Niyo's AD2 license holder) and AD1 Banks to make new remittance features and purpose codes live.

- Work with the Business team and Channels team to increase the number of Remittance orders from different channels/branches.

Core Competencies, Knowledge, And Experience:

- At least 4+ years of experience in product management.

- Be an expert in Remittance as a product, its related processes, and competition landscape.

- Experience in working directly in an AD2 licensed company would be an advantage.

- Entrepreneurship experience would be a plus.

- Fantastic problem-solving abilities, analytical horsepower, attention to detail, and a willingness to do whatever it takes from an execution perspective.

- Excellent written and oral communication skills, with an ability to handle both executive-level discussions and functional deep dives with engineering.

- Ability to thrive in ambiguous environments; excited about finding solutions to complex problems and then executing them.

- Proven track record of achieving impact through solving challenging problems with innovative solutions.

- Ability to gain in-depth knowledge of product, technology, and business.

- Ability to learn and apply new frameworks and models in product development.

- Ability to work alone and as part of a broader Product/Design team.

Key Performance Indicators:

- Net promoter score (NPS) of Remittance Products

- Product Funnel Conversion %

- Gross GMV and Number of Remittance Orders

- Net Margin (Overall and channel wise)

- Operation TATs (KYC, Document Verification, LRS Processing etc.)

Must have Technical / Professional Qualification:

- Bachelors in Engineering or MBA, from a premier tier 1 institute
