SENIOR CONSULTANT - CA/CMA GRADE-I

Overall post-qualification experience in Accounting/ Auditing/ Finance or Law - 15+ years.

Out of the above:

- Leadership role (minimum 3 years) in statutory audit of Public Interest Entities or Board level/ Immediately Below Board Level experience in finance and account function of Public Interest Entities.

Or

- Experience with Financial Sector Regulators in senior management positions for a minimum of 3 years in related fields.

Or

- Experience (minimum 4 years) in equity analysis, credit appraisals, and project appraisals in banks, financial institutions, and Rating Agencies in a senior management role, reporting to the Board or CEO.

And

- Expert Knowledge of Financial Reporting Standards and Standards on Auditing

Desirable Knowledge and skill set :

- Knowledge of international regulatory developments in accounting and auditing.

- Knowledge of Internal Financial Controls, IT General controls and application and press controls.

- Strong written and verbal communication skills including technical drafting skills.

- Ability to guide teams and provide training.

Job Description :

- Actively engage in standard-setting process (review of standards received at NFRA for recommending to Government).

- Support Authority meetings, agenda setting, background papers, presentations, minutes, and follow-up.

- Assist in liaising with standard setters across international jurisdictions, process membership requirements, and respond to exposure drafts and other related communications.

- Lead seminars/webinars/papers (at least 3 in a year) on accounting and auditing matters as may be relevant.

- Peer review of various reviews/reports as may be assigned by competent authority.

- Liaising with institutions of repute for capacity-building efforts at NFRA.

- Provide domain inputs to data analysis and identification of cases to be taken up for review.

- Any other work relating to the above and any other work as assigned by NFRA.
