Experience required :

Overall post-qualification experience in Accounting/ Auditing/ Finance or Law , 9+ years Experience.

Out of the above:

- Experience (50% of overall experience) in statutory audit/internal audit or experience in finance and account function of Public Interest Entities.

- Experience (Min 3 year) with Financial Sector Regulators in related fields

- Experience (Min 3 year) in equity analysis, credit appraisals, and project appraisals in banks, financial institutions, and Rating Agencies.

- Proficiency in Financial Reporting Standards and Standards on Auditing

Desirable Knowledge and skill set :

- Knowledge of international regulatory developments in accounting and auditing.

- Knowledge of Internal Financial Controls, IT General controls and application and press controls.

- Strong written and verbal communication skills including technical drafting skills.

- Ability to guide teams and provide training.

Job Description :

- Actively engage in standard-setting process (review of standards received at NFRA for recommending to Government).

- Support Authority meetings, agenda setting, background papers, presentations, minutes, and follow-up.

- Lead seminars/webinars/papers (at least 3-2 in a year) on accounting and auditing matters as may be relevant.

- Peer review of various reviews/reports as may be assigned by competent authority.

- Provide domain inputs to data analysis and identification of cases to be taken up for review.

- Any other work relating to the above and any other work as assigned by NFRA.
