Nippon Life India Asset Management - Credit Analyst - Fixed Income

Position Title : Credit Analyst.

Location : Mumbai - Corporate Office.

Department : Investment -Debt.

Reporting to : Chief Investment Officer- Fixed Income.

Purpose of the Job:

- The position is responsible for analysis of companies and sectors, preparing detailed updates and reports on portfolio companies on an ongoing basis.

Key Responsibilities:

- Independently able to undertake fundamental analysis of companies to form credit view.

- Detailed understanding of the sectors to identify key trends and outlook.

- Keep up to date with market information and stay ahead of the curve to manage portfolio risks.

- Good networking skills.

- Adhering to regulatory and ethics code.

Behavioral Competencies:

- Sound interpersonal skills.

Role Specific Competencies:

- Background in financial analysis essential Analytical bent of mind with a research inclination

- Ability to think out of the box.

- Conversant with legal documentation.

- Formal Qualifications / Prior Work Exp.

First choice :CA (rank holder), CFA (additional qualification desirable) with 3-5 years of experience.

Alternate choice :Engineer - MBA only from premier institutes on a very selective basis can be considered if there is relevant experience.
