JOB DESCRIPTION:

Position title: Credit Analyst.

Location: Mumbai.

Purpose of the Job: Credit Underwriting.

Key responsibilities:

- Conduct comprehensive credit evaluation of new and existing clients in the high yield private credit space.

- Identify potential risks and provide recommendations to mitigate them.

- End to end deal closure including finalization of the transaction structure, term sheet negotiation and legal documentation.

- Monitoring existing portfolio investments.

- Interacting with the company management on a periodic basis.

- Preparing internal/external notes/updates/presentation.

- Work closely with internal and external stakeholders to support business goals.

- Ability to assume responsibility for end-to-end transaction turnaround.

- Managing the tight timelines without diluting the rigour of analysis.

- Strong experience in evaluating various businesses, managements and transaction structures.

- Detailed oriented in approach to business and financial evaluation.

- Keen interest in constant learning of various business model, industry dynamics and transaction structures.

- Ability to handle complex transaction structure.

- Ability to turnaround transactions under tight timelines without compromising on rigor.

- Ability to bring new perspectives/knowledge base in discussions.

Formal Qualifications / Prior Work Exp:

- Strong experience in structured/high yield transactions including both opco/hold co structures.

- Minimum experience of 1-2 years in the relevant domain (including NBFCs/Credit AIFs).

- Qualifications in finance domain including CA/CFA/PGDM (Finance) is added advantage.
