Job Description.

Position title: Assistant Manager/ Deputy Manager - Operations.

Location: Mumbai - Corporate Office.

Department: Operations - Banking Operations.

Grade: IL-4/ IL-5.

Organizational relationships.

Reports to: AVP - Settlement team.

Purpose of the Job: Responsible for settlement of all Asset Class as executed by the Fund Management team.

Key Responsibilities:

- Execution of timely and error free settlement of NSLR - SLR - Equity - Equity.

- Derivatives - Debt Derivatives deals.

- Accurate execution of the Cash flow management of various schemes of Mutual Fund.

- Audit / Stock Reconciliations of different asset class etc for Operations of Mutual Fund.

- SEBI Compliance reporting relevant to Mutual Fund Operations, providing audit related data and preparing required MIS for management & other external parties.

- Preparation / checking of accurate cash flow information on deals settlement & corporate actions, preparation of security masters, reporting trades on various reporting platforms like FIMMDA, CBRICS, ICDM, updating issuer rating, AMFI sectorsub sector, checking listing status and interest payment dates, accurate blocking and unblocking of securities.

- Coordination with Custodian and various counterparties including banks.

- Handling of Fixed Deposit Placement & Settlement and providing support to process borrowings.

- Margin monitoring, funding and utilization of cash and Placement & Withdrawal of securities in SLR and Derivatives.

- Processing of Mutual Fund deals Subscription and Redemption in ETF and Non-ETF schemes.

- System Development based on regulatory changes and enhancement.

Behavioral Competencies:

- Ability to handle settlements independently.

- Good communication skills - oral and written.

- Sound knowledge of entire settlement process for SLR/NSLR and Equity markets both primary and secondary trades.

- Computers hands on experience.

- Willing to put in long working hours as and when required.

Role Specific Competencies:

- Knowledge of Indian Capital markets, banking and financial services industry.

- SEBI Mutual Fund regulations related to settlement process & Reporting Requirements.

- SEBI guidelines for Mutual Fund Investment limits, Risk Management etc.

- Mutual Fund banking Operations and Settlements.

- Interface with fund managers, dealers, risk team, IT, counter parties, fund accountants, custodians, brokers, auditors, member of exchange.

Formal Qualifications / Prior Work Exp.:

- Minimum of 5 Yrs relevant experience in Mutual Fund Operations/Fund Accounting
