Nippon Life India AIF Management - Assistant Manager/Deputy Manager - Venture Capital Fund

Purpose of the Job: The purpose of the role is to execute the fund's investment strategy by serving as the engine for deal origination, deal evaluation via rigorous financial analysis, and post-investment value creation, ultimately ensuring strong portfolio returns

Key responsibilities:

- The core responsibility includes sourcing deals and doing commercial, financial, technical and legal diligence on startups that are raising capital.

- Do in-depth industry research involving global and domestic industry data and mapping of the entire chain of participants and competition.

- Research on deals, trends, transactions in startup early-stage ecosystem

- Engaging with founders and liaison with the legal counsel in deal closure

- Build a network of industry participants across company's industry coverage and doing networking across various industries where the fund has exposure..

- Creating business models and writing update notes and reports

- Build a strong connect with the company's portfolio company managements.

Formal Qualifications / Prior Work Exp:

- MBA or C.A with minimum 2-3 years of experience.

- Should have experience in venture capital, private equity, investment banking or management consulting functions.
