
Role of the Corporate Planning Department
Formulation of Corporate Strategy:
- Define the direction of existing businesses and new businesses
- Develop external strategies such as market strategy and global strategy in line with NNC's strategies.
- Design internal strategies including resource allocation and organizational optimization
Planning and Promotion of Medium and Long-Term Goals:
- Establish company-wide objectives and key issues for the medium and long term
- Evaluate and coordinate plans across all departments
- Preparation of Mid-term/Annual Management Plans
- Create and manage mid-term & yearly business plans to ensure execution
Planning for New Businesses and Investments:
- Conduct research, planning, and feasibility studies for new business and investment projects
- Coordinate with other departments and provide proposals and recommendations
Support for Management Operations:
- Serve as the secretariat for the Management Council Meeting and Risk Management Committee meeting.
- Review approval documents for critical management decisions
Handling Special Assignments:
- Conduct research, planning, and proposals for special projects assigned by top management
- Review of approval documents related to important management matters.
- Formulation/Review of important corporate policies such as Delegation of Powers, Whistle Blower Policy, Risk Management Policy etc. Corporate Planning will also play a major role in timely revision of all functional level policies and procedures in line with local statutes, regulations, changes arising out of external audit observations and improving internal controls.
Job Title/Qualifications/Experience/CTC of candidate
- We are looking to recruit a Chartered Accountant/Company Secretary/Management Graduate (MBA with a specialization in Finance) with a minimum experience of 8-15 years in Corporate Planning.
- Financial management and compliance monitoring, with experience in working in Pesticides/Chemical companies to head the Corporate Planning Department of NIN.
- Depending on the experience, the position could be either Manager (CP) or DGM (CP).
