Nichino India - Head - Information Technology

Job Summary:

We are seeking an experienced and strategic IT Head to lead the technology function of our manufacturing company. The ideal candidate will have deep expertise in managing enterprise-wide IT infrastructure and systems, with comprehensive knowledge of SAP (all modules), and experience in implementing digital transformation initiatives in a manufacturing environment.

Key Responsibilities:

Strategic IT Leadership:

- Define and drive the IT strategy aligned with business goals.

- Evaluate and implement new technologies to improve efficiency, scalability, and digital maturity.

SAP Management & Optimization:

- Oversee end-to-end SAP ERP system management, covering MM, PP, SD, FI/CO, QM, PM, HR, and other relevant modules.

- Coordinate with cross-functional teams for SAP implementations, enhancements, rollouts, and support.

- Ensure data integrity, security, and seamless integration between modules.

- Act as a liaison between business units and SAP support/development teams.

IT Infrastructure & Cybersecurity:

- Manage all IT infrastructure, including servers, networks, databases, and cloud platforms.

- Ensure data security, disaster recovery planning, and cybersecurity compliance.

Digital Transformation & Industry 4.0:

- Lead initiatives related to Industry 4.0, IoT, automation, smart factory solutions, and data analytics.

- Promote a data-driven culture and introduce tools for operational efficiency and predictive maintenance.

Team Leadership & Vendor Management:

- Lead, mentor, and build a high-performing IT team.

- Manage IT budgets and vendor relationships for hardware, software, and consulting services.

Key Requirements:

Qualification:

- Bachelor's / Master's Degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, or related field.

- SAP certifications will be a strong advantage.

Experience:

- Minimum 10-15 years of IT experience, with at least 5 years in a leadership role within the manufacturing sector.

- Most prefer from Agro Chemical Industry

- Experience with SAP S/4HANA migration or implementation.

- Proven hands-on experience with SAP across all core modules.

- Preferably from Manufacturing sector
