Role Overview:

We are looking for a high-ownership Associate Director - Admissions to lead and scale the admissions operations function. The role requires strong operational depth, people management, process excellence, and the ability to deliver a seamless and high-quality experience for applicants and internal teams. You will oversee the end-to-end admissions operations, guide the team, and collaborate with cross-functional leaders to ensure smooth, efficient, and compliant execution across the full lifecycle.

Key Responsibilities:

- Own and drive the end-to-end admissions strategy, ensuring program-wise enrolment goals are met consistently.

- Oversee the entire admissions funnel, maintaining strong quality and conversion at every stage.

- Lead, mentor, and develop the admissions team, owning performance management, capability building, and execution standards.

- Partner closely with Marketing to optimise campaigns and ensure a steady flow of high-quality leads.

- Deliver a premium applicant experience through fast, personalised, and professional communication across all touchpoints.

- Ensure rigorous evaluations through structured tests, interviews, and a standardised selection process.

- Monitor admissions dashboards and data daily to identify gaps, improve funnel efficiency, and drive timely interventions.

- Strengthen SOPs, documentation, and compliance frameworks to ensure consistency and process discipline.

- Collaborate cross-functionally with Academics, Finance, Careers, and Leadership to enable smooth, end-to-end execution.

- Drive accurate forecasting, planning, and seat allocation with a strong data-driven approach.

- Track intake quality, selection effectiveness, and scholarship utilisation to uphold cohort excellence and financial discipline.

Required Qualifications & Skills:

1. Must-Have:

- 8+ Relevant experience in Operations, Admissions, Sales Ops, or Program Execution in education, ed-tech, or premium institutions.

- Strong analytical skills with experience in CRM tools, reporting, and data interpretation.

- Proven capability in leading and developing teams.

- Strong communication and stakeholder management skills.

- Ability to perform effectively in target-driven, fast-paced environments.

2. Preferred:

- Experience in higher education or new-age institutional setups.

- Exposure to customer experience-oriented environments.

- Educational background in Business, Operations, or related fields.
