Whom are we looking for?

We are seeking an accomplished Engineering Manager with a proven record of building and scaling enterprise-grade fintech products. The ideal candidate will combine deep technical expertise, strong architectural skills, and hands-on leadership experience in product-based environments.

This role requires a balance of technology leadership, team management, and strategic execution across design, development, and implementation phases.

Key Responsibilities:

- Leadership & Team Development: Lead, mentor, and develop a high-performing engineering team. Foster a culture of technical excellence, accountability, and innovation.

- Architecture & Design Ownership: Define, review, and guide system architecture and design to ensure scalability, security, and long-term maintainability.

- End-to-End Delivery: Oversee the complete software delivery lifecyclefrom requirements analysis and technical design to testing, release, and production deployment.

- Cross-Functional Collaboration: Work closely with product management, business, and operations teams to align engineering objectives with organizational goals.

- Technology Strategy: Define and evolve the technology roadmap; evaluate emerging tools, frameworks, and best practices to drive modernization.

- Engineering Excellence: Implement best practices in coding standards, testing, automation, and continuous integration/continuous deployment (CI/CD).

- Operational Ownership: Ensure systems meet performance, reliability, and cost-efficiency targets through effective monitoring and cloud infrastructure management.

- Risk & Quality Management: Identify potential risks, manage dependencies, and ensure timely, high-quality delivery through proactive planning.

Required Skills and Experience:

- Bachelors or Masters degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field.

- 8-12 years of progressive experience in software engineering, including at least 3 years in a managerial or technical leadership role.

- Proven experience in delivering enterprise-grade fintech or product-based software systems.

- Strong technical background with hands-on expertise in Java, Node.js, Python, or equivalent backend technologies.

- Proficiency with modern frontend frameworks such as React or Angular.

- In-depth understanding of microservices architecture, API design, and cloud platforms (AWS, Azure, or GCP).

- Demonstrated experience implementing DevOps, CI/CD pipelines, and infrastructure-as-code.

- Exposure to AI/ML frameworks, data-driven systems, or blockchain-based platforms is an advantage.

- Experience or familiarity with Generative AI and Agentic AI development is a strong plus.

- Excellent communication, analytical, and stakeholder management skills.

- Proven ability to lead teams, drive execution, and deliver results in agile, fast-paced environments.
