Role Overview

The Social Media Manager will be responsible for strategizing, executing, and managing the social media presence across multiple brands within New Media Holding. This role requires a mix of creativity, data-driven decision-making, and hands-on execution to drive engagement, build communities, and strengthen brand narratives.

Key Responsibilities

Strategy & Planning

- Develop and execute tailored social media strategies for multiple brands/projects under New Media Holding.

- Align content plans with overall marketing, brand, and business objectives.

- Monitor industry trends, audience insights, and competitor activities to drive innovation.

Content Creation & Management

- Oversee the content calendar across brands, ensuring consistent tone, messaging, and brand identity.

- Coordinate with design, video, and content teams to deliver high-quality, engaging posts (images, reels, carousels, stories, short-form videos, live sessions).

- Adapt content per platform (LinkedIn, Instagram, X, YouTube, Facebook, emerging platforms).

Community & Engagement

- Drive audience growth, engagement, and conversations across platforms.

- Actively monitor, respond, and build relationships with followers, influencers, and communities.

- Manage brand reputation by handling escalations and ensuring quick turnaround on queries.

Campaign Management

- Plan and execute organic + paid social media campaigns for product launches, brand partnerships, and marquee events.

- Collaborate with cross-functional teams (PR, performance marketing, creative, partnerships) for 360 execution.

Analytics & Reporting

- Track KPIs: follower growth, engagement rate, reach, sentiment, conversions, ROI.

- Share insights, dashboards, and recommendations with leadership for optimization.

- Experiment with new formats, tools, and platforms to improve performance.

Key Skills & Competencies

- Strong understanding of social media ecosystems, algorithms, and best practices.

- Creative storyteller with ability to craft brand narratives across platforms.

- Hands-on experience with content scheduling, analytics, and social listening tools (e.g., Sprout

Social, Hootsuite, Meta Business Suite, etc.).

- Ability to juggle multiple brands/projects simultaneously with attention to detail.

- Strong communication, collaboration, and stakeholder management skills.

- Analytical mindset to derive insights from data and optimize strategies.

Qualifications & Experience

- Bachelors/Masters degree in Marketing, Communications, Media, or related field.

- 3+ years of experience managing social media for multiple brands/projects (preferably in media, entertainment, or digital-first companies).

- Proven track record of building and growing engaged communities online.

- Experience working with creators, influencers, or entertainment IPs will be a plus.
