Network Practice Leader - IT

Position Summary

We are seeking a highly experienced Network Practice Leader to lead, design, and scale our enterprise network architecture practice. This role requires deep expertise in SD-WAN solutions, Palo Alto Networks security platforms, and large-scale network transformation initiatives.

The ideal candidate will combine strong technical depth with strategic leadership capabilities, driving network modernization, security integration, and operational excellence.

Key Responsibilities

Practice Leadership:

- Lead and grow the enterprise network practice, including SD-WAN and security architecture.

- Define technology roadmaps aligned with business and digital transformation goals.

- Provide thought leadership in next-generation networking and secure access architectures.

- Mentor senior network engineers and architects.

Network Architecture & Design:

- Design scalable, secure, and highly available enterprise network architectures.

- Lead WAN transformation initiatives (MPLS to SD-WAN migration).

- Architect campus, data center, and cloud connectivity solutions.

- Develop high-level and low-level design documentation (HLD/LLD).

SD-WAN Expertise:

Architect and implement SD-WAN solutions using platforms such as:

- Cisco SD-WAN (Viptela / Meraki)

- VMware SD-WAN (VeloCloud)

- Fortinet SD-WAN

- Aruba SD-WAN

- Optimize application-aware routing and policy-based traffic management.

- Ensure performance, resilience, and secure branch connectivity.

- Palo Alto & Security Integration

Design and implement security solutions using:

- Palo Alto Networks NGFW

- Panorama centralized management

- GlobalProtect VPN

- Prisma Access / SASE

- Develop Zero Trust architecture frameworks.

- Integrate firewall policies with SD-WAN and cloud environments.

- Cloud & Hybrid Networking

Architect secure connectivity for:

- AWS (Direct Connect, Transit Gateway)

- Azure (ExpressRoute, vWAN)

- Google Cloud

- Implement hybrid and multi-cloud network strategies.

- Deploy secure SASE frameworks.

- Governance & Compliance

- Ensure compliance with industry standards (ISO, SOC2, HIPAA, etc.).

- Conduct network risk assessments and remediation planning.

- Oversee vendor selection and technical evaluations.
