Job Title: Vice President of Technology

Reporting To: Chief Technology Officer

Location : Hitech City, Hyderabad

Role Overview:

We are looking for Vice President of Technology who can shape the future of our organization's digital landscape. This role goes beyond managing IT-it requires someone who can think strategically about where technology is headed and guide the company toward that future.

The ideal leader will have deep expertise in cybersecurity, application development, , infrastructure, and governance & compliance. They will build a secure, scalable, and modern technology environment while working closely with business teams to drive innovation and growth.

Key Responsibilities:

Cybersecurity Leadership:

- Build strong, multi-layered cybersecurity protections across all systems and applications.

- Set up security frameworks, governance processes, and ensure compliance with all required standards.

- Lead the organization's approach to risk management, incident response, and business continuity.

- Foster a culture where security is part of everyone's mindset.

Application Development & SDLC:

- Oversee end-to-end application development, ensuring our systems are reliable, scalable, and well-designed.

- Establish clear SDLC frameworks and ensure development follows the best engineering and security practices.

- Encourage agile ways of working, DevOps adoption, and automation to improve speed and quality.

- Strengthen QA through automated testing, performance checks, and better release management.

Technology Strategy & Innovation:

- Create a forward-looking technology roadmap that supports our long-term business goals.

- Stay updated on new technologies and bring in solutions that can modernize and transform the business.

- Guide the organization through key digital transformation initiatives.

Infrastructure & Operations:

- Manage our cloud, on-premise, and hybrid infrastructure to ensure reliability and cost-effectiveness.

- Improve IT operations through automation, strong monitoring, and efficient service delivery.

- Ensure our systems are always available and prepared for disaster recovery.

Governance & Compliance:

- Put clear governance and compliance processes in place to protect systems and data.

- Standardize policies, controls, and audits to reduce risks and improve transparency.

- Ensure the organization meets all regulatory and security requirements.

Leadership & Collaboration:

- Act as a trusted advisor to the CTO and leadership team on all technology matters.

- Translate business needs into practical, impactful technology solutions.

- Build strong partnerships across teams and ensure smooth communication between technical and non-technical groups.

Budgeting & Vendor Management:

- Manage the technology budget responsibly and ensure strong returns on investments.

- Lead vendor evaluations, negotiations, and relationships to make sure we get the best value and service.

- Build and mentor a strong technology team across all disciplines.

Qualifications & Experience:

- Bachelor's or Master's degree in Computer Engineering or related field

- Relevant certifications in application development and cybersecurity will be an added advantage.

- 20+ years of progressive experience in technology leadership.

- Strong expertise in cybersecurity and building secure, layered defenses.

- Deep understanding of application development, SDLC, DevOps, and cloud technologies.

- Experience managing infrastructure, IT operations, and compliance frameworks.

- A strategic thinker who can envision the future of technology for the organization.

- Excellent communication, leadership, and stakeholder management skills.
