Neterwala Group - Assistant Manager - Product Costing & Analysis

Role & Responsibilities

1.Product Costing & Standard Costing:

- Maintain and update standard cost in SAP S/4HANA.

- Analyze cost changes and their impact on product profitability.

- Work closely with production and engineering teams for cost estimation and control.

2. Inventory & Material Ledger Management:

- Perform monthly inventory valuations using Material Ledger in SAP S/4HANA.

- Reconcile physical and system inventory and ensure proper costing of goods issued/received.

- Ensure accurate BOM and routing data for costing purposes.

3. Cost Control & Variance Analysis:

- Monitor production costs and perform detailed variance analysis (standard vs actual).

- Identify cost-saving opportunities and work with departments to implement them.

- Track and report cost drivers and trends using SAP reporting tools.

4. Budgeting & Forecasting:

- Support preparation of cost-related components of the annual budget.

- Use SAP tools to forecast cost trends and support business planning.

- Provide cost simulations for new or modified products.

5. Audit & Compliance:

- Prepare schedules and documentation for internal and external audits.

- Ensure adherence to ICWA/CMA standards, company policies, and statutory requirements.

Preferred candidate profile

We are seeking a qualified and experienced Cost Accountant with expertise in SAP S/4HANA to join our finance team. The ideal candidate should have a minimum of 5 years experience in cost accounting within a manufacturing company or any process manufacturing industry. This role involves handling product costing, cost control, variance analysis, and inventory valuation using SAP S/4HANA. Strong analytical skills and cross-functional collaboration are essential.
