Location - WFO, Mumbai. No remote
Company - Uni Deritend Limited (UDL), www.unideritend.com: Uni Deritend Ltd is India's leading and forerunner in the manufacture of Investment Castings (Lost Wax Process). The company operates two plants: one in Nashik and the other in Tumsar (Bhandara) in Maharashtra. The Nashik plant houses the company's management office.
We seek to strengthen the business development team of the Metallurgy Division with the new position of Assistant General Manager/DGM - International Business Development.
General background: The ideal candidate is an engineering graduate with a post-graduate qualification in Sales/Marketing and 10-15 years' experience in Business Development roles in similar industry.
Areas of experience sought:
- Servicing existing customers/Key Accounts independently for International markets (Europe & US)
- Develop trust relationships with a portfolio of major clients to ensure they do not turn to competition.
- Acquire a thorough understanding of key customer needs and requirements.
- Expand the relationships with existing customers by continuously proposing solutions that meet their objectives.
- Ensure the correct products and services are delivered to customers in a timely manner.
- Serve as the link of communication between key customers and internal teams.
- Resolve any issues and problems faced by customers and deal with complaints to maintain trust.
- Play an integral part in generating new sales that will turn into long-lasting relationships.
- Prepare regular reports of progress and forecasts to internal and external stakeholders using key account metrics.
- Communicating and collaborating with the advertising, design, marketing, sales, and logistics departments to ensure that key clients' needs are met.
- Compiling reports on account progress, goals, and forecasts for account teams and stakeholders.
- Developing a thorough understanding of key clients' needs and requirements and preparing customized solutions.
- Negotiating contracts with key clients and meeting established deadlines for the fulfilment of each client's long-term goals.
Travel & Mobility: The position is based in Mumbai and frequent travel is anticipated.
