The Assistant Finance Controller MIS Head will play a pivotal role in managing financial operations, reporting for the company. This role involves leading a team of professionals & overseeing financial reporting, regulatory reporting, compliance, and MIS functions to ensure accurate and timely insights for decision-making and regulatory adherence.
Key Responsibilities:
1. Financial Reporting & Control
- Review monthly, quarterly, and annual financial statements in compliance with Ind AS and RBI guidelines.
- Support month-end and year-end closing processes.
- Managing Quarterly Statutory & Internal Audits
- Ensure accuracy and integrity of financial data and reporting systems.
- Managing the requirements from lenders, shareholders & Due diligence process
2. MIS & Business Intelligence
- Lead the MIS function, ensuring timely and accurate reporting of financial and operational metrics.
- Develop dashboards and analytical reports for senior management and board reviews.
- Ensuring various MIS & dashboards are prepared & published to the management on time.
3. Compliance & Audit
- Ensure adherence to RBI regulations, Companies Act, and other statutory requirements.
- Coordinate with internal and external auditors for statutory, and internal audits and Regulatory reporting
- Address audit observations and implement corrective actions.
4. Taxation & Regulatory Reporting
- Oversee direct tax computation & DTA/DTL computations
- Ensure timely submission of RBI returns and other regulatory filings.
5. Process Improvement & Controls
- Strengthen internal financial controls and SOPs.
- Drive automation and digitization of finance processes.
- Implement best practices in financial governance.
Qualifications & Experience:
- Chartered Accountant (CA) with 8-10 years of experience in NBFC or BFSI sector.
- Strong understanding of Ind AS, RBI regulations, and financial systems.
- Experience in MIS reporting and data analytics.
