About the Role:

The Business Analyst will act as a bridge between business stakeholders and technical teams to identify, document, and implement technology-driven solutions. The role requires strong analytical, communication, and documentation skills to ensure business goals are accurately translated into functional outcomes.

Key Responsibilities (KRAs):

- Gather, analyze, and document business requirements from stakeholders across departments.

- Translate business needs into detailed functional specifications and user stories.

- Conduct feasibility studies and gap analyses to evaluate potential business solutions.

- Develop business cases and cost-benefit analyses to support IT and process improvement initiatives.

- Collaborate with project managers, developers, and QA teams to ensure timely and accurate solution delivery.

- Perform data analysis to identify trends, patterns, and actionable insights for decision-making.

- Facilitate requirement workshops, stakeholder meetings, and brainstorming sessions to resolve project issues.

- Create comprehensive documentation including BRDs, FRDs, process maps, and training guides.

- Ensure that delivered IT solutions meet business objectives and align with strategic goals.

- Support user acceptance testing (UAT) and provide end-user training and assistance.

- Monitor project progress, risks, and issues, providing regular updates to management.

- Continuously identify opportunities for process optimization and system enhancement.

Required Skillsets:

- Strong understanding of business process mapping, requirements gathering, and documentation techniques.

- Proficiency in tools such as MS Excel, Visio, JIRA, Confluence, or similar project management systems.

- Basic knowledge of software development lifecycle (SDLC) and agile/scrum methodologies.

- Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills with attention to detail.

- Ability to translate complex business concepts into technical requirements.

- Strong communication and interpersonal skills for stakeholder management.

- Experience in conducting data analysis and preparing dashboards or reports.

- Ability to work collaboratively in cross-functional teams and manage multiple priorities.

- Domain knowledge in IT, software, or business operations preferred.
