Location: Mumbai

About the Company:

Our client is a leading global FMCG organization in the beverage space, known for its strong brand equity, high-growth culture, and dynamic market presence.

Role Summary:

We are looking for a dynamic Trade Marketing leader to drive national trade strategy, category growth, and in-store execution excellence. The role will act as a bridge between Sales and Marketing, leveraging insights, POS, and category management to maximize brand presence and commercial performance. This position requires strong leadership, analytical thinking, and the ability to influence cross-functional teams in a fast-paced environment.

Key Responsibilities:

- Lead national trade marketing strategy and execution across channels

- Translate marketing plans into actionable sales strategies and in-store excellence

- Drive POS development, deployment, and optimization aligned with brand guidelines

- Generate business insights through data analytics, sales performance tracking, and opportunity identification

- Lead category management initiatives with key customers to drive growth

- Partner with sales teams on channel/customer strategies and trade investments

- Act as the central interface between Sales, Marketing, and global teams

- Drive alignment, communication, and execution across internal and external stakeholders

Requirements:

- 10-15 years of experience in FMCG across trade marketing, sales, category management, or business insights

- 3-5 years in leadership roles (Regional/Zonal Sales, Trade Marketing, etc.)

- Strong understanding of sales, distribution, shopper behavior, and category management

- Experience in driving trade strategies, POS, and in-store execution

- Strong analytical and commercial acumen

- Excellent stakeholder management and cross-functional leadership skills

- Ability to influence, drive alignment, and deliver results in a dynamic environment

- Bachelor's degree in Business/Management (MBA preferred)
