About the Organization:

A leading NBFC in India is looking to strengthen its national technical and valuation governance framework by hiring a seasoned professional to lead valuation operations across India. This is a high-impact leadership role with significant visibility across Credit, Risk, Legal, and Business functions.

Role Overview:

The National Technical Manager - Valuation will lead and centralize valuation governance nationwide, ensuring standardization, regulatory compliance, risk mitigation, and technical excellence across all property assessment activities.

The role demands strategic oversight, operational rigor, and strong stakeholder management capabilities.

Key Responsibilities:

- Lead and supervise valuation operations across multiple regions on a pan-India scale

- Design, implement, and standardize valuation policies, frameworks, and SOPs

- Ensure consistency, accuracy, and compliance in valuation methodologies and reports

- Manage empanelment, performance monitoring, and audits of external valuation firms

- Conduct technical audits and variance investigations, including fraud risk assessments

- Strengthen valuation governance aligned with RBI and internal audit standards

- Partner with Credit, Risk, Legal, and Operations for robust underwriting decisions

- Drive analytics-led insights through MIS reviews and exposure monitoring

- Support new product development and geographic expansion with valuation intelligence

- Mentor and develop regional technical teams

Ideal Candidate Profile:

- B.E./B.Tech in Civil Engineering (Mandatory)

- Government Approved Valuer certification preferred

- 9-15 years of experience in valuation/technical roles within BFSI

- Strong exposure to Mortgage, LAP, Home Loans, and Commercial/Residential assets

- Proven experience in leading multi-regional or national technical teams

- Strong risk orientation and audit mindset

- Ability to influence senior stakeholders and drive governance
