Hiring for a NBFC- Leadership role

Role: National Technical Manager - High Value LAP/SME

Base : Gurgaon

The candidate will lead the entire technical valuation function across India. They'll manage a team, work with external agencies, ensure property valuations are accurate, and maintain strong knowledge of local real estate laws and market dynamics. They also act as a key advisor to credit teams on collateral acceptability.

Leadership & Team Management

- Lead a nationwide team of regional and area technical managers

- Build and develop a strong team with deep market knowledge

Valuation Oversight

- Review and approve technical valuation reports

- Ensure fair property rates, proper documentation, and compliance with local construction norms

Agency Management

- Identify, empanel (onboard), and manage external valuation agencies

- Evaluate their performance (TAT, quality, service)

Site Visits

- Personally inspect large or complex properties and create valuation reports

Advisory Role

- Act as a technical advisor to the credit team for any collateral-related doubts or disputes

Market Intelligence

- Regularly interact with brokers/valuation firms to stay updated on property prices

- Track market and regulatory changes affecting property approvals

Risk & Compliance

- Monitor valuation trends and alert senior management about concentration risks or anomalies

Collateral Management

- Oversee end-to-end collateral validation and management to ensure loan security
