Role & responsibilities:


The Service Head will be responsible for end-to-end leadership of spare parts and service operations with P&L accountability. The role focuses on sustainable growth, operational excellence, and customer satisfaction across India.


This position requires a balanced leader who can strengthen service systems, improve predictability, and ensure consistent profitability while supporting long-term customer relationships.


Key Responsibilities:


- Manage Service SBU P&L with focus on stable margins and cost control


- Oversee pan-India spares sales and service execution


- Improve service planning, delivery timelines, and service quality


- Develop AMC/CMC frameworks and lifecycle service offerings


- Strengthen customer relationships and retention


- Build capable teams and standardized service processes


- Ensure coordination with manufacturing, supply chain, and finance


Candidate Profile:


- 15-25 years of experience in industrial machinery / heavy engineering


- Prior experience in service, aftermarket, or customer support leadership


- Exposure to industries such as steel, cement, sugar, or similar


- Strong operational, people, and stakeholder management skills


- Age 50 years
