National Sales Manager Salon Channel
Position Overview:
We are seeking an experienced National Sales Manager to lead and grow our salon channel nationwide. The role requires a strategic leader with deep salon ecosystem knowledge, proven distributor and key-account management skills, and a hands-on approach to drive revenue, partnerships, and professional adoption of Brillares products.
Key Responsibilities:
- Develop and execute a national sales plan for the salon channel aligned with brand and business objectives.
- Deliver consistent YoY sales performance and meet/exceed annual targets across salon verticals.
- Identify, onboard, and expand relationships with salons, salon chains, professional educators, and distributor partners to drive product trials and repeat usage.
- Lead, coach, and motivate Regional Sales Managers and field teams; set clear targets, KPIs, territories and incentive plans.
- Own top-tier salon accounts and strategic distributor relationships; negotiate commercial terms and partnership programs.
- Define and track KPIs (sales, conversion, retention, average order value), analyze trends, and present actionable insights to senior management.
- Work closely with Marketing, Training, Product, and Operations to design salon programs, in-salon activations, training curricula, promo calendars, and go-to-market initiatives.
- Ensure adherence to pricing, trade terms, channel policies and ethical standards; maintain accurate sales forecasts and CRM records.
Qualifications & Skills:
- MBA/PGDM in Sales, Marketing, or Business Administration (preferred).
- 15+ years of sales experience in FMCG or cosmetics/beauty; at least 5 years in a leadership role managing sales teams.
- Mandatory hands-on experience selling into the salon/professional channel and managing distributor networks.
- Proven track record of achieving sales targets and expanding market share in salon or professional channels.
- Strong understanding of salon operations, product adoption drivers, professional education, and salon purchasing behavior.
- Excellent leadership, negotiation, stakeholder management and communication skills.
- Analytical mindset with experience in sales forecasting, territory planning, and working knowledge of CRM tools.
- Willingness to travel extensively across markets.
